Biographical Info
Julia is an AC Professional Executive Coach and Trainer at the practice she set up, Spark Coaching & Training, in 2001. Julia has been coaching for 15 years and supervising for 10 years. She has supervision qualifications from the Bath Consultancy Group as well as CSA. Julia is also the Regional Co coordinator for the Association of Coaching Supervisors in the Northwest. She is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and Institute of Training & Occupational Learning.
Julia started her career in retail operations for Lewis’s Ltd, Littlewoods and Mackays. After discovering her passion for people development she became a trainer at Help the Aged and then became UK Training Manager for Dedicated Micros (CCTV Manufacturing). Before becoming an independent coach in 2001, Julia set up and led the Training function at Greater Manchester Magistrates Courts responsible for all staff and management development.
Her joint honours degree in Biology/Psychology underpins a keen interest in Neuroscience approaches to coaching and a strong psychological underpinning to all her work. She has a number of one to one supervisees who she mentors by phone/skype and has been running a regular supervision group in Manchester since 2012.
