Biographical Info
My qualifications include being a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) and Member of the Association for Coaching (MAC). I hold the Post Graduate Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring from Oxford Brookes University.
I am experienced in 1:1, group and peer supervision. This includes both F2F and Skype/phone with ongoing email support as required.
Many supervisory clients value and utilise my senior HR experience (culminating in responsibility for Group Learning and Development within a 30,000 employee organisation) to consider their clients interventions into complex political landscapes. 50% of my clients are supervisors themselves operating within the UK’s top management consultancies, financial and professional services, retail, household names and leading academic institutions. I also love working with newly qualified coaches to enrich and help them gain confidence in their practice.
Having been a trained assessor for the AC Accreditation scheme and a co-coaching facilitator means that I work at the forefront of new ideas for the development of the coaching profession which is embedded into my supervision practice. I have helped coaches to successfully navigate the accreditation process (testimonials available).
I am passionate about the development of coaches and partnering with them to sharpen their performance edge and realise their full potential. Clients describe my style in the following terms: high energy, pragmatic, superb listener, wholly collaborative, genuine personal warmth and naturally perceptive with a manner that encourages open dialogue. I have led my own department of 20 people with 3 team leaders so has practical experience as well as sensitivity to differing organisational cultures.
My areas of expertise include: influencing others with positive impact, managing conflict, team building, developing female managers/directors, career change and coaching to manage significant change.
CPD this year for me has included transpersonal psychology perspectives, clean language and guided imagery.
