Elaine is an international Master Executive Coach, Accredited Coaching Supervisor, and Writer and is also the Coaching Supervision Academy’s Director: Creative Development.

Elaine’s passion is to bring the energizing, creative and humanizing powers of coaching super-Vision to leaders, people professionals and development practitioners everywhere for courageous, compassionate, and ethical practice. Elaine’s vision is to bring our sense of our shared humanity and what it means to be human to every role, work conversation, consulting room or Boardroom to help connect to what truly matters, to create anew at the edge of continual change and to act with integrity in the world. Elaine uniquely focuses on both the practitioners’ own personal and professional development with the simultaneous human, cultural and strategic development of their teams, systems and organizations.

Elaine blends her own impressive leadership experience of leading the creative implementation of deep system wide transformational change in highly politicized complex organizations with her specialist training in executive coaching, supervision, psychological mindedness, systems thinking, organizational development, adult learning, resilience, and creativity. Elaine takes her inspiration from her love of the arts, history, meditation, writing, poetry, nature and nordic walking. Her practice is underpinned by her original MA peer reviewed research, which coined the phrase “Reflect to Create”. The research was a study into leaders experiences of reflection and reflective practices and is published in the journal of ‘Reflective Practice: International and Multidisciplinary Perspectives’.

Elaine’s accreditations include: Master Executive Coach with both the Association of Coaching and European Coaching and Mentoring Council; Coaching Supervisor with the Coaching Supervision Academy; and is qualified with an Advanced Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring (with Distinction), a Diploma in Coaching Supervision and Master of Arts. Elaine is an accredited Myers Briggs Type Indicator Step 1 Practitioner, a “Right Conversation” and an EQ (Emotional Intelligence) Bar-On Practitioner. Elaine is a Fellow at the Royal Society of the Arts for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce. Elaine has been a tutor and assessor on The OCM’s Advanced Coach Diploma Course and is now a tutor on the Coaching Supervision Academy’s Diploma in Coaching Supervision.

Elaine’s publications include “Reflective Learning and the Reflective Practitioner” in “Full Spectrum Supervision: Who you are in How you Coach” and “Presence in Coaching Supervision” in the Association of Coaching’s ‘Supervision in Coaching: Supervision, Ethics and Continuous Professional Development”, contributions to “Coaching and Mentoring: Practical Conversations to Improve Learning” and “A Reflective Process: Key to Transformational Learning” in The OCM Journal. Elaine is now writing a book called “Reflect to Create: Reflection, Reflective Practice and Supervision for Leaders and People Professionals” as well as developing a compilation of her poems, blogs and journal notes.
