Helping my clients to be more fully themselves is key in my work, as this is the very path I walked myself when being Supervised and then becoming a Coach Supervisor. My mission as a Supervisor (inspired by Orriss) is to support my clients to realise their full potential and become all of who they are. This I want to do with open mind and curiosity, using an eclectic toolbox and drawing from a wealth of sources (e.g. 7-eyed-model and creative tools). Using myself as an instrument, for the benefit of the Supervisee, is the very core of my work as a Supervisor, and as a Coach as well. For me the mindset of ‘letting go to let come’ is also essential, as I truly believe that what is needed will come.
My clients see me as authentic, honest, kind and firm. “To have someone supervise you who loves her work and is deeply curious and interested in yours is a stimulating and joyful place to start” (Shohet, 2008). This is a quote that resonates alot with me.
I work with my Supervisees face-to-face in Helsinki (Finland) and remotely (via Skype, Zoom) anywhere.
I have received regular Supervision from 2014 onwards, and my Supervisors are from Ireland and India.

Life changed for me when I first encountered the fantastic Coaches Training Institute Coactive Coaching programme in their first ever UK workshop back in 1999! Over the following years I went on to pioneer the use of coaching within organisations in my then OD and Leadership role in Financial Services, when a “coaching culture” was still relatively unheard of, and I completed my Professional Coactive Coach Certification during this time. I came to the Coaching Supervision Academy in 2006 to join their first Diploma programme so that I could support internal coaches and soon went on to work independently where I now work with coaches who care passionately about the work they do and their clients. My clients come to supervision when they are coaches in training, or while seeking accreditation or as very experienced executive coaches who understand the importance of continual growth and development in their work. Clients tell me that they value my deep listening, non judgemental support and insightful observations.
I am based in beautiful Scotland where I have supervision clients who I meet in person. I also have plenty of experience of working UK wide and internationally, so am delighted to work across boundaries via skype / phone etc.

I bring to all my work a belief that, at our best, we are working with the whole person, not just the exterior of the client or supervisee who comes into the session. I have been a supervisee myself for over 30 years, and my supervisors, in all my roles, have been a huge part of my development and growth, both professionally and personally. I have valued their knowledge and experience, offered in a safe space where I have felt able to be honest about whatever is on my mind, and I bring this approch to my own practice as a coach supervisor.
Initially a trained nurse, I became a counsellor 30 years ago, and still practice in the voluntary sector. This led me into coaching, where my understanding and experience of psychological processes underpins my work.
I have worked in senior roles in HR in the Finance Industry and the Legal sector. In the last 10 years I have coached individuals and teams in a wide range of sectors, including Finance, Oil, Defence, Retail and the NHS. Other aspects of work include co-designing and facilitating training for team coaches.
I live in Guernsey, travelling through London regularly, and working on Zoom as well. In the Summer I’ll be on the beach, and i love walking, socialising, and helping out with lots of grandchildren.

Based in Dubai and working across the Middle East, Margaret has been involved in Leadership Development for fifteen years.

She is passionate about people’s growth and transformation and uses a variety of tools, techniques and approaches to encourage her coachees and supervisees to reflect on their behaviour from different perspectives in order for new possibilities to be explored, created and experienced.

Margaret has a strong belief that a coach’s role is to act as a catalyst for change and therefore coaches her client’s to increase their self-awareness by constantly reflecting on the impact their behaviour is having on others. She also enables her coachees to create the self-belief that they themselves have the knowledge and skills within to identify the areas of behaviour and performance that requires adapting or changing and to set actions in place and put them into practice in order to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. Margaret is an accredited Master Executive Coach with the Association for Coaching and an accredited Coach Supervisor with the Coaching Supervision Academy. She is a Chartered Organisation Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and accredited to use a number of different psychometric tools.
